I love wing shooting ( ducks and dove), and I bow and gun hunt for turkey, deer, alligator and hog, even the occasional squirrel. I live on a farm and eat everything I hunt. Its not about the killing...many mornings, I'll head up to the tree stand with a cup of coffee and no weapon just to watch the world wake up. I enjoy watching the deer feeding, the turkeys strutting, and the hogs coming in from their nighttime forages.
Getting out and being out, whether hunting or not, give you a better appreciation for the world, and the natural order of life.
BTW, I'm sure there will be a few hunting haters on this thread. Think about this before you answer... I also raise cattle on my farm; those deer have a LOT better chance of survival than the cows do. Their bovine destiny was set from the beginning!Who deer or bird hunts?
