Is it legal to hunt deer with a .223 rifle in Kansas?

Even if it is legal many will recommend you use a larger cartridge... At least a .243 with the 30/30 and 270 being even better.......Is it legal to hunt deer with a .223 rifle in Kansas?
Many states outlaw anything under .30 cal. for deer. .223 just doesn't have the ability to put down a deer reliabily unless you get a lucky shot ina vital area.Is it legal to hunt deer with a .223 rifle in Kansas?
I agree with meathanol
