Deer car accident?

i cant find specific details relating to deer coverage... but i have full coverage with progressive insurance... anyone know if deer accidents are covered?Deer car accident?
hitting an animal is covered under your comprehensive coverage. As long as you have comp. coverage you will be covered...I hit a dear last summer...I do not have collision coverage on my car...but it was covered by my insurance under comprehensive. Comprehensive covers...hitting animals, acts of god and glass breakage.Deer car accident?
If you have collision coverage- your set. YOu will obviously be responsible for your deductible though.
With full coverage it sure is.
If you have full coverage, hitting a deer will be covered, just as would any other collision!. You will have to pay any deductable that is in your policy.

Good luck
This is usually covered under Comprehensive but it's different with every policy. Just depends on how your agent wrote your policy.
Yes. They're covered under your Comprehensive insurance (fire, theft, and acts of God). You will have to pay your deductible but it usually won't raise your rates.
Yes you are covered.

even with PLPD, you would be covered, it is an ACT OF NATURE -

completely not your fault.

The adjuster will let you know that it is covered.
I beleive deer accidents are considered ';acts of God'; and insurance covers them. I've hit 2! (Maybe deer should pray more.)
It is not covered under your comprehensive like a few have told you here. It's covered under your collision coverage. Whether you collide with a car, truck, deer, moose or a tree, your collision coverage will take care of it less your deductible. Of course nothing will help the deer.
Pretty sure it is considered an act of nature and therefore will be covered. I do think you will be responsible for the copay.
Deer claims are covered under comprehensive coverage (if it was alive when you hit, that is).
Accidents are covered
Nope. Only elk and antelope accidents are covered with progressive.

If you hit a deer, it's covered by your collision insurance, same as if you hit a tree.
