It is a term for a Chihuahua that has long legs and is not even close to the AKC standards. Unscrupulous bybs use this term to market their poorly bred dogs to make them seem ';special'; to get more money out of those that don't know any better.





RUN from anyone trying to sell you a ';Deer';, ';Teacup';, or ';Applehead'; Chihuahua.

its nothing but an advertising gimmick. There is no such thing as a Deer Chihuahua or a Deer headed Chihuahua.. in acuality its badly bred Chi's that have narrow heads rather than the nice domed head they are suppose to have. They also have very long narrow legs. Some one is trying to up the price of there crappy bred Chi to cover the fact that they are not breeding standard Chi's. Anyway your is just a sub-standard non conformational fawn Chi... she is VERY cute and there is nothing wrong with Non conformational pet as long as your not breeding them and calling them Deer Chihuahua's
