What are the black bugs that look like ticks that get into my deer corn feed?Bugs in deer corn feed?
It is NOT a boll weevil.
Sorry to call out the first two answers, but it isn't a boll weevil.
It says on the link that gave .700 nitro is for wimps
you that they feed on bolls and flowers, they don't feed on corn.
Trust me- my boyfriend is a COTTON farmer and he knows all about boll weevils. Besides, if there is cotton in your area, then boll weevils will create a HUGE problem. They get their name from living in and eating cotton bolls.
It's probably a grain weevil. There's a HUGE difference between the two.
