Phonetic question. Please help and thank you ^^Would it be right to transcribe 'red deer' with one long [d]?
I don't know the technicalities of phonetic transcription, but I can tell you that the two Ds must be pronounced separately in this phrase--------reD Deer----------so that it doesn't sound like a ';red ear';.............if that would mean a long [d], then yes!Would it be right to transcribe 'red deer' with one long [d]?
Not sure what you mean, but if the words are';red deer';
they should be transcribed as ';red deer';.
