Were is the best place to shoot a deer?

In the city zoo is the best place for a quick hunt....with a riffel! Were is the best place to shoot a deer?
Heart lung area or the neck. Don't ever take a head shot. If you miss the brain you risk a painful slow death or wounding. I found a deer with it's jaw shot off that obviously died of starvation. I also know a guy who tried to shoot one between the eyes and because of the angle, the bullet ricocheted of of the deers forehead. (Remember that a good shot to the lungs will not ruin any meat, most deer butchers will discard the entire rib cage they won't tell you this unless you ask specifically for the ribs)
behind the left front shoulder usually kills them but ruins a lot of meat, the best is in the head or spine but not always a realistic approach.
Kill zone has been pretty well defined, head shots or directly befind the shoulder. Pick up any outdoor life or field and stream magazine and there will be a diagram somewhere in it showing vitals
Heart- lung(s) area

or between the eyes! : )
head right be hind the ear in the lungs and heart is good to
Hopefully in the forest. I shot one in the park once and it cost me $5,000.00
The best place is in the neck. Less meat is ruined and it is about as instantaneous and humanly as is possible.

Happy hunting.

H
Northern Minnesota or Wisconsin
In the woods! Check out the state game lands nearest you.
the largest target is the heart/lung area just behind the front shoulder about a third of the way down from its back...head shots, while lethal, are not recommended because he target area is so small (a deer's brain is only about the size of a baseball)...unless you are at point blank range, go for the heart/lung area
With a ';riffel?'; Is that a German camera?

';Was ist los mit der riffel, Hans?';

Shoot a deer with a Polaroid.
Most go for the chest or head, but I'll offer a third option: the neck.

The neck of a deer is a delicate structure, consisting of spine, major blood vessels, throat, and little else. As a result, a good hit to the neck will drop the animal quickly. A miss, unlike a chest shot, though, will miss the animal entirely. Miss the vital zone on a chest shot and you've just wounded the deer - perhaps fatally, perhaps not. I like the neck shot because of the reduced risk of causing needless suffering to the animal.
with a rifle, where the head joins the neck or at longer range behind the shoulder
Why would you want to?
Depends how big of a deer you want. If you go to Pennsylvania, New Jersey, or any of those suburban eastern states, they have immense deer populations....but they're all small and runty. Go up to Maine, and you'll have less deer, but they're bigger.

But maybe you should have some hunting knowledge and proper gun handling training before going out. One of the basic things is knowing what you're shooting with. I don't know anyone that shoots with a ';riffel';. Most people I know use a ';rifle';.
In the woods.
In the heart.
In his vitals heart lungs or brain. Head shot not recommended if you are mounting the deer. Shooting deer with Polaroid also not recommended, Polaroids do not taste very good.
