I want to temporarily preserve a Deer Hide b4 I take it to a hide Tannery. Any Suggestion greatly appreciated......THANXDeer Hide Preparation?
The only thing that I will add to Butch's answer is roll it hair side outDeer Hide Preparation?
Lay it out skin side down and pour salt on it liberaly and let dry.
Roll it tightly, wrap in plastic and seal, then freeze.
